Opposites
We never see clearly. Our thoughts, perceptions and experience are heavily filtered through the lense of what has come before in our lives. But what if we could break through to new insight? Might there be a way to reexamine that which veils the truth? Explore the law of opposites and find new meaning and insight.
Session 1: Freedom In The Body (6 Sept)
For every sensation held within the body, a potential opposite exists. Tension can be paired with relaxation, contraction with spaciousness, warmth with cool. Whilst our mind divides and compartmentalises experience, when we open out the lense and go on the search for polarities, we can find great comfort, ease and equanimity within our physical experience.

Session 2: Where Sensation Meets Emotion (13 Sept)
Whilst our body keeps track of sensation and feeling, our minds begin an interpretive process as we experience energy-in-motion. E-motion is borne, and as we explore emotions, we can stay connected to the body whilst expressing emotion, its stories and narratives. Learn to stay close to what’s real and discover opposites to the kaliedoscope of our emotional landscape.

Session 3 - The Turn-Around (20 Sept)
Littered throughout traditional yoga texts, we can find reference to practices of turning around any experience which disturbs us. Regardless of being right or wrong, there is the opportunity to break free of those thoughts, feelings and emotions that are weighing us down.

Session 4 - Free From Belief (27 Sept)
In our early years, it is almost certain that we picked up some beliefs about ourselves and the world. Our young and not-yet fully-formed sense of self cannot help but interpret and personalise events that may leave us feeling unworthy of love, lacking somehow or unsafe and insecure. These early experiences calcify within us and form deeply held beliefs. Explore the work that can help you uncover, and recover, your deeper sense of wholeness.
